Oishi Park

Oishi Park, in the Oishi district on Lake Kawaguchi's northern shore, faces the lake. It’s a well-known spot for viewing Japan’s most famous mountain. Many people come here daily to photograph Mt. Fuji with flowers. Lavender in the summer and "kochia" (summer cypress) leaves in the autumn join the view of Fuji and add color to the season. At Fuji Oishi Hana Terrace, next to Oishi Park, you can take in the view of Mt. Fuji and the trees along the Lake Kawaguchi shoreline. Enjoy shopping for sweets and souvenirs made in Yamanashi Prefecture and walking among the seasonal flowers.
