Château Mercian Katsunuma Winery

Winemaking has a 145-year history in Japan, and the winery is at the heart of Château Mercian. The Château Mercian Katsunuma Winery and vineyard, wine gallery, and wine museum are open to the public with no reservations needed for the latter two. At the gallery’s tasting counter, you can enjoy a set of wines recommended for the season, Limited-edition wines are also available in the wine store. And pay a visit to the excellent Wine Museum, where you can delve deeper into the history of Japanese wine.
