The Riso-en fruit farm aims for visitors to both eat and experience. Yamanashi, Japan’s top fruit-producing region, is especially well known for grapes and peaches. Located in a geological basin, this area undergoes wide temperature differences between morning and evening, which leads to especially sweet fruit. Peach picking season lasts from late June to mid-August and grape picking from late July to late October. Riso-en guides you to the sweetest peaches and grapes grown in its expansive fields each day. (Note that the timing for fruit picking can vary each year.)
