The trip will take you through the Tokyo area as well as Kanagawa, Yamanashi, Chiba and Saitama Prefecture. For 7 days, we will be exploring these 5 regions, giving us several prospects of Japan. The journey will offer visitors the chance to experience first-hand the unique attractions of each of the prefectures, and will be based on the theme of wellbeing.

Lunch at a restaurant in Hakone Miyanoshita with a varied menu.
The most popular dish is "Ajisai-don". The flavor of fresh horse mackerel and other seafood and the crisp texture of the vegetables are exquisite. The Odawara Castle
Odawara Castle, located in Kanagawa Prefecture, is a reconstructed Japanese fortress just an hour from Tokyo. Originally built in the 15th century, it played a significant role during Japan's Warring States period. The current concrete structure, rebuilt in 1960, offers visitors a glimpse into medieval Japanese architecture and history.
The castle features a three-tiered, four-story keep with exhibits of armor, swords, and historical documents.

SUGI NAMIKI (OLD HIGHWAY TREES)
Walking along the old Tokaido highway in Hakone, you are bound to notice many majestic cryptomeria (sugi) trees growing on both sides of the road. In 1604, only a year after the warlord Tokugawa Ieyasu (1543–1616) had unified Japan under one banner and established the samurai-led shogunate that was to rule Japan until 1867, the government began the task of marking the major roads of the realm by planting rows of trees on both sides of the highways.

Lake Ashi & Hakone Shrine
Lake Ashi, the symbol of Hakone, was formed about 3,000 years ago when the eruption of Mount Kamiyama at the central summit of volcanic Mount Hakone produced lava flows and volcanic rock that choked the Hayakawa River. A fantastic view is captured by photographing Hakone Shrine from the opposite shore of Lake Ashi at sunset.

At the powerful Fudo Waterfall, which has a height of 15 meters, you can refresh yourself by bathing in plenty of negative ions. On the way to the falls from the nearby bus stop or parking lot, there is a teahouse that serves amazake (sweet, low-alcohol sake) and other refreshments, and you can soothe your fatigue with a footbath as the cascading falls calm your nerves and your spirits.

The shrine was founded in 705 to enshrine the deity of the site. Following the great eruption of Mt. Fuji in 807, the emperor dispatched an imperial envoy to this shrine to perform a ritual to halt the eruption. It is said that during the Warring States Period, when Takeda Nobutora, the father of a famous warlord Takeda Shingen, battled with the Hojo Family, he set up camp here, prayed for victory, and won the battle. He then dedicated his sword to this shrine.

The 15-metre-high Myojin-shaped Otorii, which rises above the eastern approach, is one of the largest wooden torii in Japan.
