The trip will take you through the Tokyo area as well as Chiba Prefecture. For 4 days, we will be exploring these two regions, giving us a good contrast between the urban and rural sides of Japan.The underlying theme of the trip will be “Ocean Adventures”, however can also enjoy areas that compliment the Japanese oceanside with the unique charms of both Chiba’s breathtaking countryside and Tokyo’s stylish cityscape.

Traveling to Katsuura, Chiba, begins with a ride on the JR Sotobo Line Limited Express Wakashio from Tokyo Station, taking approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival, we can enjoy a 45-minute boating cruise with Seafari Japan, offering scenic views of the coastline. After the cruise, the evening can be spent stargazing at SOLAS, which provides a perfect setting for observing the night sky. This day combines travel, adventure, and relaxation in a beautiful coastal environment.

On Day 2, we will embark on a journey westward to Kurkku Fields, where we spend the majority of our day exploring this innovative sustainable farm and lifestyle complex. We'll immerse ourselves in the organic farming practices, art installations, and farm-to-table dining experiences that make Kurkku Fields a unique destination. As we make our way back to Tokyo, we'll take a break at the fascinating Umihotaru Parking Area, an artificial island rest stop in Tokyo Bay. This stop will offer us breathtaking views of the bay and a chance to relax before completing our return trip to the city.

On day 3 in Asakusa, Tokyo, we will engage with Japanese culture by participating in a sushi-making experience at Tamasushi. Here, we will wear white robes and learn the art of nigiri sushi from seasoned chefs, creating and tasting our own sushi masterpieces. Later, we will head to Higashiya Ginza for a serene Japanese sweets and tea pairing session. This experience will allow us to savor freshly made seasonal wagashi and a carefully curated selection of teas, enhancing our appreciation for Japanese confectionery. The day promises to be a delightful blend of culinary skills and traditional flavors.

On our final day, we will start our adventure at teamLab Planets, an immersive digital art museum in Toyosu, Tokyo, where we can interact with stunning artworks and experience the unique barefoot journey through water and gardens. After exploring the captivating exhibits, we'll head to Odaiba, where we can enjoy the scenic views of Tokyo's skyline. From Odaiba, we will ride the water bus to Asakusa, taking in iconic landmarks along the Sumida River. Finally, we'll make our way to Tokyo Skytree, where we can enjoy breathtaking views of the city from one of the tallest structures in Japan.
