Tokyo International Forum
Tokyo International Forum, which opened in 1997, is a convention and arts center known for its glass tower featuring a massive boat-shaped atrium. Built in the administrative center of modern and contemporary Tokyo, where the previous Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building once stood for nearly a century. The forum serves three functions—as a hub for comprehensive cultural activities, a center for information exchange and creation, and as a base for international exchange. Today, the venue is used for a variety of events including concerts, musicals, and exhibitions, also serving as the venue for weightlifting and power-lifting competitions during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. This building is beloved by many as a key hub for Tokyo's culture and international exchange, thanks to its easy-access prime location and impressive architectural design.
