Mount Nokogiri, on Chiba Prefecture's Boso Peninsula, is known for its stone production. Mount Nokogiri can be enjoyed as a day trip from central Tokyo, as it’s close to a train station, with a ropeway and a road up the mountainside. There are also many safe climbing trails for beginners. No matter your age or physical limits, there’s plenty to enjoy here.
