Bonsai Creative Workshop

Hirao, a bonsai master appointed by the Agency for Cultural Affairs as a 2013 Japan Cultural Envoy, has been working to spread bonsai culture around the world. At Seishoen, you can hear him give a lecture on bonsai in English. During the workshop, participants learn the intricate techniques of shaping and nurturing these miniature trees, guided by him. The experience not only highlights the beauty of bonsai but also emphasizes its historical significance in Japanese culture.
