The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games marked the first time the Olympics had ever been postponed – they were held instead in 2021. The metropolitan area centered on Tokyo has a highly developed transportation network that allows for convenient and quick access to all the neighboring prefectures.

The Japan National Stadium in Tokyo was the Olympics’ central stadium. Meanwhile, the Games left a legacy in the four neighboring prefectures of Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, and Yamanashi. These areas are rich with attractions that visitors can easily access, as they are so well connected.
